A Royal Spring Fling to Remember

The spirit of spring was in full bloom at Mill Creek during our annual Spring Fling, a joyful event that brought together residents, staff, and music in a celebration of warmth, renewal, and friendship. The dining room came alive with pastel decorations, cheerful balloons, and vibrant spring-themed touches. But it was the energy in the room—the laughter, singing, clapping, and toe tapping—that truly filled the air with magic.



A highlight of the day was the crowning of our Spring Fling King and Queen. Residents and staff cast their votes, and the excitement built as former Queen Annette proudly passed her crown to a tearful and overjoyed Eileen. Her emotional reaction touched everyone in the room. Former King Kevin crowned our new King, Jerry, whose look of surprise and delight lit up the celebration.

Tom Adams, our talented entertainer, provided the perfect soundtrack to the afternoon with his soulful singing. Residents swayed, tapped their feet, and sang along, soaking in every sweet moment. Guests were treated to delicious spring-themed cookies—shaped like roses, tulips, and sunflowers—and refreshing beverages to enjoy while sharing smiles and memories.

It was a day filled with beauty, music, and heartfelt moments—a reminder of the joy that blossoms when we come together.
